Introduced to the crowd as "Edinho from Brazil" Edon Do Amaral Neto (To give him his full name) was an instant hit at Valley Parade bringing flair and skill to Kamara's struggling team. Seldom has a player been taken to the hearts of the fans as Edinho was and despite his advancing years and (slightly unfair) frequent unfavourable comparisions to Pele and Ronaldo, he is still a great player to have in the squad.

A story goes around Bradford about Edinho being invited to join a table of City fans in a restuarant in the City Center and, despite his limited English, he enjoyed their company so much that he picked up the bill.

Edinho is skillful and has an excellent touch on the ball. His heading is excellent for such a short man.
