Robbie has come into his own in the 1998-99 season under new manager Paul Jewell after signing towards the end of the 1997 season.
Robbie's thrusting style and direct play is reminiscent of former City star John Hendrie.

Robbie's City career looked over after he was convicted of Drink Driving and transfer listed by the club. In retrospect these events were more than a little influenced by the death of Diana, Princess of Wales in a drink related crash.

Robbie can play as a striker or on the left flank. He is quick, hard to knock off the ball and has a fantastic shot.
