Signed by: Chris Kamara As a part of the York City team that clinched a shoot out win in the third division play off final Nigel attracted the eye of City boss Kamara and took over from fan's favourite Lee Duxbury, playing a pivotal role in the clubs escape from relegation at the end of the 1997 season. Nigel score the third goal in City's 3-0 thrashing of QPR that kept the club in Division One, a free kick from the edge of the box that went in with as much power as any seen at Valley Parade. Combative midfielder Nigel provides a solid backbone to the midfield and is also able to play at centreback and on the right hand side of defence or midfield.
