Former Manchester United goalkeeper Gary Walsh was signed for City by Chris Kamara for £500,000 after a months loan deal in which he conceded only one goal in seven games. He has gone on to become one of City's best goalkeepers.

Gary's acrobatics in the dying seconds of 2-1 home victory over Barnsley in September 1998 after City's last minute double strike, was one of the finest saves ever seen at Valley Parade

Gary has an excellent command of his box and is capable of wonderful goalkeeping.
